How to Record a Slide Show in Power Point

The Record Slide Show feature in Microsoft PowerPoint is very useful for recording voice-over narration. To get started, navigate to the Slide Show tab on the ribbon and click on Record Slide Show. Then, click Start Recording from Beginning. In the pop-up box, make sure Slide and animation timings is checked. Click Start Recording.
After that, you will be directed to your first slide in a full screen view. You can now start recording. You may see a little box on the corner of your screen. In this box, you can see the recorded time for the current slide and the total time for entire PowerPoint. You can also use the various buttons to navigate to the next slide, pause the recording, or start over recording for current slide. You may also navigate to the next or previous slides using arrow keys on your keyboard.
When you are done recording, you can press the Esc key on your keyboard. Click Yes to save the new slide timings.
To create a video from your PowerPoint, click on File> Export> Create a Video. Choose the Presentation Quality and size from the drop-down menu. Also make sure Use Recorded Timings and Narrations is selected is the second drop-down menu. Then, click on Create Video, and save it.
